Public talks focussing on the work and issues arising from it were organised in collaboration with City Arts Centre .
Reading The Agreement, the symposium, was one of the strategic initiatives for the reinvention of City Arts Centre. Subjects for debate included citizenship, art and politics and art in the public domain.
The exhibition venue for The Agreement, Sheriff Street, is geographically close to Fire Station Artists Studios which runs a community programme in the same area.
Fire Station Studios generously supported the production phase of The Agreement by providing workshop facilities for the artist.
The digital etching of the text was executed by the Dublin firm Fire Design and the painting carried out by Tradesignsof Mullingar. Both companies made a great contribution to the project with their technical and practical expertise.
